The ability to view games live as they happen. I don't this has to be huge but allow 2-3 people view your games.
Options:
Public/Private
Broadcast Mode (meaning can't look at plays and adjustments(hot routes))
People can chat on mics but the players can't hear
Allow it to be viewable on the web
Record and save for later showing
The ability to practice with your franchise team. This will give you the option to look at rookies in the pre-season to see if they fit your offense.
The ability to trade draft picks.
Even during the draft.
The ability for commish to recreate games situations( qtr, time, score, possession) for players who were D/C’ed
When I played online franchise it seemed that no matter what the players did, they progressed or regressed the exact same every time you played it. So people could actually draft from the draft classes knowing exactly how they will progress through the life of the franchise. The ability to advance the franchise via the web.
Right now, the game will only call one penalty per play. For example, if the the return team jumps offside the punting team can BLAST the return man without another penalty being called for a free fumble.
Right now commissioners turn trading with CPU off because the CPU does not know when the deal is good or not. Too many time a player will take advantage and trade 1 bum player for 2 CPU great players.
Around week 13 or 14 start showing who is in the playoff race, who is tied and who is on the brink of not making it...It will add some spice to the online franchise instead of playing the guessing game
If one member can't play his game and you want to advance. Rather than BOOTING that member to give other guy a CPU game. It would be nice to have a way to give someone a CPU game, and allowing other person to STAY in the LG, and not have to re-join.
The ability to set your team to auto pilot in case you have to be out of town.
There are a few developers that have created very interactive, attractive and customizable Madden franchise sites.(XFN, League Manager)
They offer historical stats as well as players of the week and Power rankings. Tie this in with a message board to schedule games and its a madden community.
either tie in EA stats for real time updates or duplicate the style of these sites to enhance the online experience.
The ability to set sliders for the whole franchise.

qb accuracey
broken tackles
blocking
punt returns
kicking power
Commish should be able to RE-CREATE the situation. Score, time, possession, down, and distance, timeouts, injuries, etc... That way the 2 opponents don't have to start over from scratch, or take a lot of time trying to get game re-created on their own. ***Or EA should be able to SAVE the game at the disconnection point so they restart where they left off. This would also eliminate someone from ever disco'ing game intentionally. ...more »

Super linebackers and defensive backs defending, swatting and intercepting balls that are so far out of their reach has been a major problem since Madden 11 and has to be fixed. No defender should be able to defend a ball that is more than 3-5 yards away from his current position on the field. EA either needs to fix the 'Flat' ball trajectory or change the animation or whatever it takes to fix this most annoying issue. ...more »

I have video logged situations where a LB has knocked down a ball from as much as 20 yards away from the intended receiver. This is absurd and has to be fixed!

Let us have the option of "Fair Play" in our Online Communities.
Fair Play includes:
- Punting on 4th downs
- Limiting Onside Kicks
- Limiting 2pt attempts when not necessary
In terms of progression, the Offensive line has the most flaws. If a team owner actually plays all their games the O-lineman rarely have pancake blocks(which seems like a key O-line progression stat).
Any team owner that has simmed games has the stronger 0-line progression because the "Pancake" stat is present in simmed games just not live online franch games. It is present in offline franch however.
With limitations.
I get frustrated when I have to lose a roster spot because a player is designated a LOLB and I cannot drop him as he is the last LOLB on my roster.
Being able to change

Olineman..LT-RT
Include illegal touching for players that are forced out of bounds so they aren't able to be the first to touch the ball. Also, make going out of bounds without being forced an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
Also, fix Pass Interference to be called more when it happens, and less when the receiver is hit after the ball sails past the receiver but hasn't yet hit the ground.
i want this part of franchise mode
1.Have Commish be able to Choose which Class league get or be able to import Ncaa Class.
2.Be able to create and upload own Draft Class to a online chise.
3.Atleast make classes random if none of above is possible
Be able to scrimmage (play a game for fun) other teams in your online franchise and even teams in other online franchises. Injuries and stats would not carry over into your online franchise. Would give franchise owners a chance to practice with their online franchise teams. Something fun to do between games and during bye week.
Develop mobile apps that allow admin functions on the franchise.
(functions) Boot players, advancing, transactions. Sometimes Commishes are at work, vacation just away from a cpu and PS3.
We need to be able to use our custome play books in our online franchise! Why in the world is this disabled?!
Not sure if everyone remembers the profiles on espn 2k5. but you could download someones profile and then the cpu would use their tendencies when you played against the cpu.
